The genius of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart revealed itself early, developed swiftly, and vanished all too soon. Sir Andrew Davis leads two of Mozart’s great final works: the joyous Symphony No. 39 was among the last to be composed, and the deeply affecting Requiem was music Mozart would not live to complete.
